Tan and lovin' it

Starbucks---Why "star" and "bucks"---was it founded in Hollywood? I understand JAVA Joe's as being a coffee addict's hang out, but why is Starbucks? Stupid question. Well, I went there today with Khuan for R&T meeting. No one showed. Good thing I went because I saw the man of my dreams. I remember his face quite well. The same angular features greeted me at a book shop last week. I was on the floor contemplating over a Jackpot CD or that of Lit, I ended up getting both. So while sitting cross-legged on the floor, I felt a spirit approaching. It turned out to be a blonde dude who was probably 20ish. My whole "I hate blondes" speech went down the drain. This fantastic example of human kind stood over me, admiring the same music I just passed over. When I saw him smile at me, it was love at first sight. It lasted only 13 minutes, but still. So figure out my shock when seeing the DUDE at the Starbucks counter today. That shock only lasted about 5 minutes, but still.

I had a fun afternoon also. Mitch(Tim is his real name---not same crush Tim though) picked me up and we went biking with Alix. This is just another strenuous reminder that I am extremely UNFIT. Man, biking is hard on the muscles. How does Lance do it? All I got from it was a great tan and a mud stain the color of shit on my butt. It all happened on the river walk. I slipped on algae and mud and tried not to fall completely, but my skirt/shorts/flowy dress caught the fucking ground. So it was an hour of riding with shit on my ass. Great fun. No wonder people call me ditzy, an asian blonde. I hate references to being blonde.
